I normally stay in Holiday Inn whenever I am travelling with my family, else I go for cheaper options if I am travelling solo. The reasons is that I found the quality and service levels of Holiday Inn quite consistent whichever city I visited in China. Previously I had stayed in Holiday Inn Central Plaza Beijing and this time I stayed in Holiday Inn Hangzhou Xiaoshan. Staying in Holiday Inn always gave me a comfort and security that it was a safe haven, a home away from home, especially when you are on holidays with your family with small kids. The front desk staff, the potters, the waiters and waitresses, the room cleaners etc were always very polite and friendly. And in return, I always made sure to leave back positive feedback using their feedback forms and also always recommended some ideas for further improvements. I think its important to give feedback if you like a brand so that it can be better and can still stay around.
