We continued our family tradition of staying in Holiday Inn hotels while in China. This time we stayed in Holiday Inn Aqua City in Nanjing. It was adjoining the Aqua City shopping mall and thus the name. Apparently you can hear water sounds in the mall from a nearby fountain or water feature but we never saw it or heard it. Anyways, the hotel was great and offered a consistent level of service quality as the other Holiday Inns we have stayed in before. The hotel’s green branding colours, service offerings and customer processes seemed very familiar to us and we felt very comforted away from home and in a new city, especially with two small kids. We had a meal in the hotel restaurant one day and my son was running around snapping pictures of the hotel’s restaurant using our digital camera. These are actually his shots.
