One of the places you have to go if you are in Nanjing is the Purple Mountain. The mountain itself really isn’t in purple colour as I sillily thought while approaching it in a cab. Its just called that as it appears purple because of the clouds sometimes. There are many tourist spots in the Purple Mountain and Dr. Sun Yat-Sen’s Mausoleum is also there.
