Unfortunately I cannot recall the name of this restaurant in Taikang Lu in Shanghai. But I am truly impressed with the elegance of this table-setting in 2022 as I was back in 2013. A plain white plate contrasted with black cutlery. A rolled-up napkin held together with a jute string. And a dry red chilli tucked-in to make a statement. What an aesthetic visual treat.
