Malliga auntie was my favourite auntie when I was growing up in Singapore. She was very modern in her thinking and spoke excellent English for that time in Singapore. We made a plan for her to visit us in Shanghai and she stayed with us for about a month. She cooked some delicious Singapore food and in return we brought her out see the daily living scenes in Shanghai as well as the usual tourist spots.
