A roadside Chinese Mulism bread maker

A small town in Henan. 2016

Another hardworking Chinese I saw in the small town in Henan. A Chinese Muslim. He wore the Muslim white cap and had a small banner with Islamic words on a pole in his stall. His roadside bread shop was made up of a small table where he was working out his dough and an oven in which he was baking them. I haven’t tried this bread yet but it did look like the naan bread from Northern India. My kids love naan and we do order it frequently in the Indian shops. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is naan because the bread originated in Middle East and spread to the rest of the world.
