The Catholic Church and the Chinese people

“The Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral”, also known as the “Nanguan Catholic Church” has been standing here for the past 141 years. The local people, regardless of whether they were Christians, have lived around and connected with this church in various ways for generations. These interactions have evolved over time to being what it is today. Christians singing inside the church. Tourists walking the church grounds. Wedding couples taking pictures. Kids running around the park. And the sun settling down on another mid summer night sky.
